Couple Celebrates Birth of Son, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky
Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are now grandparents after their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, gave birth to her first child, a son named Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky, on Saturday, September 26, 2014.
Chelsea Clinton, 34, and her husband, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, 37, announced the birth of their son via Twitter on Sunday morning.
"This morning we welcomed our son, Jasper Clinton Mezvinsky," Chelsea Clinton tweeted. "We are overflowing with love and gratitude and can't wait to share photos and details soon."
Hillary Clinton also took to Twitter to express her excitement about the news of her first grandchild.
"Overjoyed to welcome our grandson, Jasper," Hillary Clinton tweeted. "Chelsea and Marc are beaming with love. Bill and I are bursting with pride."
The couple has been married since 2010. They announced their pregnancy in April 2014.
