Liverpool Make Move for Dominik Szoboszlai
Hungarian Midfielder Could Become Second Summer Signing
Liverpool have made a move to sign RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, who could become the Reds' second summer signing.
Szoboszlai, 23, is a versatile player who can play in a variety of positions across the midfield and attacking line. He has been with RB Leipzig since 2021, and has made 70 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists.
Szoboszlai is a full Hungarian international, and has won 15 caps for his country. He was part of the Hungary squad that reached the last 16 of the 2020 European Championship.
Liverpool are in need of reinforcements in midfield, and Szoboszlai would be a welcome addition to the squad. He is a talented player with a lot of potential, and he would add depth and quality to the Reds' midfield.
The transfer fee for Szoboszlai is believed to be in the region of £60 million. Liverpool are expected to complete the deal in the coming days, subject to a work permit.
